A message from Syracuse states that the Democratic State Convention, with Alfred E. Smith dictating the prohibition plank, to-day renominated Mr Franklin Roosevelt for Governor, and adopted a platform calling for the repeal of the Eighteenth Amendment and the control by individual States of the prohibition question.
