REPORT ON CONVENTION. AID FOR MENACED COUNTRIES. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) . . GENEVA, September 29. (Received Sept. 30, at 5,5 p.m.) The League Assembly adopted the report on the convention for financially assisting a country involved in war or a country menaced with war, provided that the other disputant had not conformed to the council’s steps and that the council expressed the opinion that the interests of the' country that was. being assisted could not otherwise be safeguarded. The report will probably be signed on October 2, but Britain will not ratify it until a general agreement on disarmament is reached.
