ATTITUDE TOWARDS TITLES. REPLY TO A CORRESPONDENT. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, September 29. The attitude of Mr Bernard Shaw towards titles is conveyed in his secretary’s reply to a Scottish correspondent who wrote saying that Scotland, England, and Ireland would welcome with enthusiasm royal recognition, Mr Shaw replied that he had no reason to com plain of lack of recognition. He had been sounded on the matter, and bad definitely refused to bear any other title than the name with which his works are associated.
