DRIVE AGAINST NANKING. . SUCCESS OF NORTHERNERS. (United Preei Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) SHANGHAI, August 10. Despite very heavy rains the northern drive against Nanking,has been success* ful after a four days’ battle, according to an official Northern communique. The Northerners occupied the Eweiteh suburb and the Lungbai railway, disarming the Nanking brigade and inflicting 1500 casualties.
