A young man of Kovno, Lithuania, who'at present 'is in gaol, discovered a new i method of avoiding postage fees, based on the regulation whereby un stamped letters are returned to the sender. > ; The youth / addressed all .his corre spondence to .fictitious addresses, and instead of writing his own address op the back of the envelope he gave the address to , which he desired that the let ter should be "delivered. Consequently when the,Post Office thought it was returning the letter it was really forwardnng ifc to ita proper destination.
