In the quarter-finals of the doubles Wood and Shields beat Tilden and Hunter, 6—4, 6—3. FINAL OF. THE.SINGLES. WOOD BEATS ALLISON. r NEW YORK, August 9. (Received August 10, at 8 p.to.) In the final of the singles Wood defeated Allison, 3—6, o—3, 2—6, 6—2, 6—4.
