WORK FOR THE BLIND.
Mr W. Johnson, of Bradford, who was blinded in the Boer War, is retiring after 18 years as northern organiser of the National Institution for the Blind. He was one of the eight blind men who, under the late Sir Arthur Pearson, raised £600,000 in the northern counties in the late war for blinded ex-scrvicc men.
