ORIGIN OF RUSSIAN MYTH.
What Mr Ferdinand Tuohy, the war correspondent, describes as perhaps the greatest mystery of the war—why everybody saw the Russians in England in 1914—is explained in the Sphere. It was the King's map that inadvertently played n notable part in fostering that belief throughout the kingdom that Russian troops were passing through the country for the Western Front. Various 14 R’s ” appearing on this map were thought to designate Russians, but they really, indicated “ reserves.”
