WELLINGTON TEAM TO PLAY BRITAIN. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, May 30. The following is the Wellington Rugby team to play : against Britain on Tuesday, June 3, the King’s Birthday:— Heazelwood, Mackay, Ramson, Oliver, M. Nicholls, Johnson, Kilby, Coulston, Jessup, Feck, Macpherson, M'Lean, Barry, Cave, Porter; emergencies—back. Bull; forwards, Reid and Emerson. THE WAIRARAPA MATCH. CHANGE IN BRITISH TEAM. (Per United Press Association.) MASTERTON, May 30. F. D. Prentice will not play for the British team against the Combined Wai-rarapa-Bush team to-morrow. B. Parker, the Welsh international, is included in the forwards. The ground is in perfect condition, and the weather is promising. A record attendance is expected. THE BRITISH TEAM. ARRANGEMENTS FOR LOCAL MATCHES. ; The match between the British .team and Otago will be played at Carisbrook on Saturday, June 14, and will commence at 2.30 p.m. A curtainraiser is also being arranged, and it will commence at 1 p.m. The box plan for the match will opened at the Bristol on Monday, June 0, and patrons are advised that no telephone bookings can be accepted under any circumstances. The gates will be opened at 12 noon, and patrons are requested to come prepared with the exact money, and thus save time at the turnstiles. The new terrace at Carisbrook will provide ample accommodation for all. The Railways Department is arranging for excursion fares, and a special car service will be run. The first test match will be played at Carisbrook on Saturday, June 21, commencing at 2.30 p.m., and it is expected to provide a great game. As a curtain-raiser the Otago High School team will meet Southland High School, commencing at 1 p.m. The box plan for preferential seats will be opened on Monday, June 16, and for ordinary seats on Tuesday, June 17. Ground tickets will be on sale for the test match at the Otago Sports Depot, S. Jacobs’s, W. Elliott’s, and C. Fleming, Cargill’n corner. Holders of reserved seat tickets are advised that they will be admitted by special gates in Burns street only. Children’s tickets will be sold at the ticket holes in Burns street and iVTGlashan street. Official programmes will be on sale at the ground.
