Several entertaining items were given during the evening. Mr E. Bond sang “Time to o°\ and “ You Along i. Me,” and a short humorous sketch called “ Owe Doctor.” , by Mr Morris and Mr Christie, called forth applause. A novel hat competition, together with word and shadowgraph competitions, helped to entertain the visitors, and at the cnd of the evening the prizes were presented by Mrs L. F.de Berry. Mrs Eggleston very capably played the dance music, and was at times relieved 'by Mr Richmond. Other Bible Classes of the city were well represented, and four members from Oamaru were greeted.
