ST. PAUL’S BIBLE CLASS.
A very enjoyable eocial was held at St. Pauls Sunday School on Wednesday evening, under the auspices of the St. Paul's Class. The hall was very tastefully decorated, and visitors were warmly received at the doors by the members of the Social Committee and the class leader (the Rev. J, Foster). Several entertaining items were given during the evening. Mr E. Bond sang “Time to o°\ and “ You Along i. Me,” and a short humorous sketch called “ Owe Doctor.” , by Mr Morris and Mr Christie, called forth applause. A novel hat competition, together with word and shadowgraph competitions, helped to entertain the visitors, and at the cnd of the evening the prizes were presented by Mrs L. F.de Berry. Mrs Eggleston very capably played the dance music, and was at times relieved 'by Mr Richmond. Other Bible Classes of the city were well represented, and four members from Oamaru were greeted. Altogether, the Bible Class is to be complimented on a very successful evening.
