OTAGO PIPERS’ CLUB.
•*- The monthly meeting of the Otago Pipers’ Club was held on Saturday evening. Mr George Munro occupied the chair. An apology for absence was received from Mr Angus M*lvor, who was out of town. After the routine business had been dealt with, the fixing of the date for the annual meeting was con sklercd. The club has a large member ship in the country districts, and it was suggested that Winter Show week would bo an opportune time. It was finally decided to hold the annual meeting on Monday, June 2, It was decided to'hold a piping competition for members under the age of 20 years at the social. Pipe in aj or Archibald M'Miltan was appointed judge for this competition. Messrs W. Steel and D. Maher were appointed auditors. The meeting terminated with a pleasant hour of bagpipe selections, song, and story.
