Sib,—ln H 8 vef y interesting article in your issue of the 19th insO'Old Identity thinks^that the Barnego property belonged to the Anderson family; it was in fact, the property of the late Robert Faterson, and was called "Barnejjo' 3 after his old home in Stirlingshire, Scotland. "Gaek" is, of course, named after the well-known house in Perthshire, which is the * auld hoose" of Lady Caroline Nairn's song.—l am, etc,
