(Received May 9, at 8 p.m.) Thousands of white-clad children bearing crusaders' crosses on their breasts, many of them being African converts, received communion at the hands of cardinals and bishops, while the 4000 delegates to the Eucharistic' Congress knelt in prayer at an open-air service preparatory to the inauguration of the congress. Delegates and pilgrims were present from all parts of the British Empire.
