POPPY DAY FUND.
ANOTHER DOMINION RECORD. DETAILS OP STREET COLLECTION. It was announced yesterday by the organiser of the Poppy Day campaign (Mr C. E. Pryce) that the total amounts received and those notified as coming forward now bring' the Otago total up to almost £2500, and he expressed himself as confident that,*whcrl all the money, is in, this figure will be exceeded. Already . the Returned Soldiers’ Association is endeavouring to find work for unemployed ex-servicemen with the funds raised by the sale 1 of poppies, and a great deal more work, will be made available as arrangements are made with various local bodies. The following are the details of the amounts taken on the various stalls in the streets of Dunedin on Poppy Day, the' name of the person in charge .of each stall being given:- ' Jacobs’s Corner (Mrs MTntyre and assistants), £l3O Is 4d; Grand Hotel corner (Mrs Barningham, Mrs li.
