Rain threatened, but to-night, while cloudy. i s clear CHRISTCHURCH, May B.' The weather to-day was fine—dull in the morning but sunny in the afternoon The maximum temperature was 55 degrees. The barometer is slowly falling the present; reading being 30.36. The night is beautifully clear, but cold.
