(Fbosi Ocb Own Cobbebpokdekt.). WAIKOUAITI. May 6.; WAIKOUAITI DOMAIN BOARD. The first meeting of the newly-appointed board was held on Monday,' there being present the Mayor; (Mr A. Fell) and Messrs Cooper, A. Heckler,- P. Heckler, Higgins, M'Gill, and Preston. Mr A. Heckler, the only member who sat on the late board, was appointed chairman. The annual report stated that a large number ■ of trees for shelter had been planted near the beach, but the season 1 had been unfavourable : after planting. The buildings had been enlarged and other improvements effected. The year’s revenue amounted to £220 Os 7d, and the credit balance in the bank and on deposit was £504 Is 6d.
