AN OBVIOUS DUTY.
ACTION, NOT WORDS, NEEDED, ■ ASK FOR NEW ZEALAND GOODS. By MR J.' G. COATES (Leader of the Opposition). In regard to unemployment and many other matters we all find it easier merely to complain, and talk, and tell our friends what should be done, especially what the Government should do. Let us in future make sure that we, as private individuals, are doing at least this one obvious thing to help reduce unemploy- , ment and increase the prosperity of our country. In making any purchase let us always give first preference to New Zealand-made articles. Whenever we meet anyone who merely talks about what somebody else or the Government'should do, let us put it to him direct* “ Are you personally asking for New Zealand goods? If not, you have no right to complain.”
