PRIME MINISTER’S MESSAGE.

MOVEMENT WARMLY WELCOMED. / •' ‘ ■ '■ ( |.v“ " - I VALUE OF SECONDARY INDUSTRIES. i- ' V - J■• ■ ‘ NEED FOR PUBLIC SUPPORT. ' By SIR JOSEPH WARD (Prfm. Mml.t.r), 1 "I have much pleasure in complying with the request of the Dunedin Manufacturers’ Association for a message for publication in the special industrial supplement of the Otago Daily Times on the occasion of the annual Made in New Zealand Week.” I am wholeheartedly in agreement with the view that a strong ' appeal to the public to buy . goods of New Zealand manufacture should react favourably on the unemployment problem, especially under the existing economic conditions.
