CLAIM FOR DAMAGES.
WILSON-SMITH v. NELSON. ANOTHER INSPECTION OP HOUSE. ■ (Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, May 5. A further inspection of the house and the cross-examination of the defendant occupied the best part of the third day of the hearing of the case in which Mrs Josephine Wilson-Smith (represented by Mr Adams) proceeded against 0. P. Nelson, merchant (represented by Mr Hall Skelton) for £3OO, representing damage which was alleged to have been caused to the plaintiff’s house and contents during Mr Nelson’s tenancy, extending from December, 1928, to March 14, 1929. The defendant further referred to the condition of the house when he rented it. The furniture was of a very cheap class. After further evidence the case was adjourned.
