ST. KILDA LIBRARY.
ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the St. Kilda Library was held in the Town Hall last night. The president (Mr W. W. Mackersey) occupied the chair. The report and balance sheet were adopted. The election of office-bearers resulted as follows:—Patron, the Minister of Railways (Mr W. B. Taverner); president, Mr W. W. Mackersey; vice-presi-dents, Messrs W. B. Steel and T, C. Callis; librarian, Mr J. Beattie; secretary, Sirs E. E. Laing; auditor, Mr W. B. Steel; committee—-Mcsdames Hunter and Caradua, Messrs J. Adam, W. Baird, F. J, Clark, G. Nelson, and R. H. Watson; Reading Committee —Mrs Hunter, Messrs W. B. Steel and W. Thompson. The office-bearers were accorded a vote of thanks for their work during the year.
