(Pee United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, April 1. A decision to remove the suspension imposed on the jockeys W. A. Rennie, J. H. M'Crae. and A. J. Gilmer as from May 31 was made by the Auckland District Committee- In June, 1928, as the result of an inquiry into the riding oi horses in two high-weight handicaps at Rotorua races in the preceding February, the Judicial Committee of the Rotorua Racing Club disqualified Rennie and Gilmer for 12 months, and M'Crae for six months. The jockeys appealed, and the Auckland District Committee, in dismissing the appeals, increased the penalty in each case to two years disqualification, as from June 29, 1928. Subsequently the disqualification was altered to suspension. The effect of the action of the District Committee in reducing tj»e term by a month, to end on May 31, IS that the iockevs, if they succeed in obtaining licenses, will be able to ride at the Auckland Racing Chib’s winter meeting m June They are all hurdle horsemen, so that the concession will come at an opportune time for them.
