DISASTER IN TURKEY
NINE PEOPLE DROWNED. STORMM 03! LAKE OCHRIDA. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) \ BELGRADE, March 31. When the engine of a pleasure launch failed in a storm on Lake Ochrida, nine of the occupants who tried to swim ashore were drowned, including two diplomats, a military governor, and three women. All who remained on the launch were saved, including the Secretary of the Yugo-Slav Foreign Office, who tried to jump overboard, but was held fast by a projecting hook penetrating his trousers.
