TO THE EDITOtt. Sir.,—l thank you for drawing attention to an error that appeared ill my letter on the above subject. When referrina to Cr Clark, I wrote that he said: "There is plenty of work of such a description as will Rive 70 or SO percent, of the money to labour." I apologise to Cr Clark, for I should have written: "There is plenty of work, but it will not give 70 or 80 per cent, of the money to labour."
