Alosley, S.M., to answer a charge of undertaking to tell fortunes. Some interesting facts were disclosed hv counsel for the defence, who stated that his client claimed to be gifted with psychic powers. She was. he said, a recognised medium anmong the spiritualistic community. Tiie magistrate imposed a fine of £3. in default 14 days, remarking that accused had been making a fair"living out of the credulity of young girls and old men.
