NINETEEN CHARGES OF THEFT. (Pee United Press Association. WELLINGTON, February 28 Nineteen charges of theft, involving £7B in money and articles, were ad” mitted by Godfrey Ernest Pamentor aged 17, who was stated to be an immigrant The thefts were nearly all committed in hotels, includin'* New Plymouth and Wanganui, and°amon" the articles stolen were railway ticket? a letter of credit, theatre tickets! watches, wallets, cigarette eases, etc. A teniand was sought, and acceded to, the police intimating that with the exception that the accused was charged uith theft and being an idle and disorderly at New Plymouth, they did not know much about him.
