Lovers of the romantic side of life w'A\ hnd plenty to interest them in. the "Violet Magazine" for January 3. The fiction is excellently written around novel situations without any tendency to “ Mawfeishness.” Wow on sale.
The stones of William by Richmal Crompton are always welcome. The latest from this clever author's pen appears in the Happy Magazine for March, which has just been released for sale. This excellent item is well supported by a galaxy of quaintly humorous tales, jokes, and sketches—a real good issue.
Children’s dress is a matter of daily importance in most households, and any journal giving useful information thereon, together with patterns, is always welcome. “ Children’s Dress” is the title of one of these useful publications, and as the excellent February issue has just been published in New Zealand, womenfolk should secure their copy now to avoid disappointment.
