CANADIAN IMPORTATIONS, , REDUCED TARIFFS POSSIBLE. \ (United Press. Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) OTTAWA, February 26. (Received Feb. 27, at 11 p.m.) The Government Leader (Mr Raoul Dandurand) announced in the Senate today that the Australian trade treaty was receiving the earnest consideration of the Government, particularly in regard to reduced tariffs on'the importation of butter from New Zealand. He felt that the treaty could best be reviewed at the forthcoming Economic Conference, when many trade problems of the Empire would be considered.
