FIRE ON FREIGHTER

T With No. 3 bunker ablaze the freighter Ningchow reached Bunbury. When the vessel berthed tue crew were playing the hoses on the' affected quarter, and the ship had a bad list to port. The lifeboats were ready'for launching. Last night the fire seemed to be getting an increasing hold. The crew" stated that the fire had been burning since Monday. Some members of the crew were treated for the effects of-gas and explosions. Two : explosions occurred after the ship berthed. The lire brigade is pumping water into the hold.
