SCOTT AND SHARKEY. EVE OF THE BOUT. (United -Press Association.) • liy Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) NEW YORK, February- 25. (Received Feb.''26, at 9 pun.) Revising his previously annonneed training programme, at Maiami to-day Scott went through brisk boxing and drill for the benefit of visiting .Jack Tars and marines from H.M.S. Durban and two Canadian destroyers. Scott was effusively greeted by some of his friends of the Royal Marines, and a : thunderous cheer greeted his statement: “It gives me great pleasure to see you here. To my old comrades of the Royal Marines I promise I will uphold the traditions of the corps.” Sharkey contented himself with a light work-out and limbering-up exercises,' The Boston heavy-weight expressed great satisfaction with his condition, and is confident that he will quickly defeat Scott, in which he is supported by a majority of the public. For the most part he remains more or less uninterested and not excited.
