ALLEGED CATTLE STEALING.
ACCUSED MAN ACQUITTED. (Peb United Pbess Association.) GREYMOUTH, February 2C. Charged with cattle stealing, Frederick James Tibbies, aged 24, a dealer, stood his second trial in the Supreme Court to-day. He was first tried in September last, when the jury, after a four hours’ retirement, disagreed. Today the jury, after an hour’s retirement, returned a verdict of not guilty.
