Arrangements have been completed for one of the most' dramatic movements ever made towards Franco-German unity. On the famous Chemin-des-Dames, a strategic, ridge 20 long, northwest of Eheims, where for months French and German . troops fought to death, the survivors will meet again in August. Ten thousand ex-soldier Teutons will join a like number of Frenchmen on the scene of the epic struggle and solemnly swear an oath to outlaw war for evermore.
