(Fboii Oce Own Coebespondent.) ■ WAIKOUAITI,, February 24. CRICKET. /- The Waikouaiti cricket team played : Seacliff at Seacliff bn Saturday. A very interesting and enjoyable game resulted,, in a draw. For Seacliff, Hooper, (25),' Rivers (17), and Singleton (13) batted!’ well, and the bowling honours were': shared by Hooper (4 wickets for 24 runs), Milne (3 for 10), and Rivers (2 for 18).’ For Waikouaiti, L. Bell (27) and F. ’ Townsend (14) were the only batsmen to, reach double figures. F, Townsend (4 wickets for 5 runs), B. Buttar (3 for 13), and Kendel (2 for 4) bowled well.
