Edward Leahey, aged 20, 4 labourer, appeared in the Police Court charged with robbing an old man, Bartholomew, Maloney, of 11s, and also with brutally assaulting him. It appears that the pair had been drinking during the day on January 6. When Maloney went to rest in a shed the offence was committed.
