ASSISTED IMMIGRATION
ATTITUDE OF AUSTRALIA. PARTIAL RESUMPTION. (British Official Wireless.) (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) RUGBY, January 18. (Received Jan. 20, at 5.5 p.m.) The Oversea Settlement Department has issued correspondence with the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia which shows that the latter, after suspending assisted immigration almost completely, has now agreed to partial resumption, under which women for domestic services, boy farm learners, and nominated dependents of people alreadysettled in Australia will be admitted as assisted immigrants.
