(Received Jan. 5, at 5.5 p.nu) The Diike of York has gone to Rome to attend the royal wedding. He will be absent a week. THE BRIDE'S TRAIN. BRUSSELS, January 4. • (Received Jan. 5, at 5.5 p.m") There were cheering thousands in the street as Princess Marie Jose drove to the Btation to join the Italian royal train for Rome. The train was unrivalled in splendour, a magnificent dining room having been decorated by the foremost Italian artists. The Princess was accompanied by their Belgian Majesties and a large suite. Elaborate police precautions have been taken to ensure the safity of the train, which will be preceded by pilwt engines. ExrCrown Prince Rupprecht of Bavaria (uncle of the bride) will aUend ths wedding. It will be the first meeting of the King and his brother-in-law sirce the relations were broken off during the war. ROME, January 4. (Received Jan. 5, at 5.5 p.m.) Though the actual wedding pageantry will be witnessed by few, there will be more picturesque pageants during the whole week, and the Eternal City will he en fete. ■'
