TRAGEDY IN SYDNEY SUBURB. BODIES FOUND IN SCRI'B. (United Press Association.) (fly Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) SYDNEY, December 20. What appears to be a case of murder and-suicide was discovered at Punchbowl suburb. The bodies are believed to be those of Wallace Ducie (32) and Jessie Smith (20). They were.found in the scrub. ALLEGED BUSINESS FRAUD.

ACCUSED BEFORE THE COURT,

SYDNEY, December 20.

(Redeived Dec. 20, at 9 p.m.) In connection with the alleged conspiracy case, Morris Abraham Kutncr (37), Daniel Joseph Rogers (05), Albert Monroe Cameron (27), and Harry Roden (39), all of whom are auctioneers, Albert Arthur Ellisdon (60), a merchant), and Harry Levy (67), a broker, were charged with conspiring to defraud such persons as should be induced to give credit to Cheapleys, Ltd., or to A. A. Ellisdon by false representation. The police stated that -goods worth about £05,000 were obtained from various firms. About £15,000 worth was recovered and about £3OOO was left in the bank. The goods were sold at half price or less, and some were missing. The case was adjourned to February 2, bail being allowed. The police said that at least 100 witnesses would be called. '

Inquiries by detectives resulted in the arrest of five men for an alleged business fraud involving £60,000. The firm with which the men are connected came into, existence some months ago, trading on the 90-day bill system and. buying huge quantities of merchandise from and selling at ridiculously low prices to retailers.
