A young Russian who claims to be the only son of the murdered Czar, and says he escaped from Siberia, where he was imprisoned for years, was arrested for having no passports, but was released after a week’s detention hero, the police confessing that they were unable to confirm or disprove his story. The Czarovitcb, if alive, would be 26, whereas the fugitive looks not more than 20, but his resemblance to. Russian royalties is said to bo remarkable.
