MAGISTRATE’S COURT.

MOTOR COLLISION,
Ronald Ballantyne Arnott v. T. D. Dalziel, claim £l3O J s 3d, arising out of a collision between the plaintiflrs motor cycle and the defendants motor lorry, as a result of which the plaintiff had his cycle damaged and received extensive injuries, his leg being fractured. Mr R. A. King appeared for tbc plaintiff. Mr A. N. Haggitt for the defendant.—The hearing of the case was continued, further evidence being heard in support of the plaintiff’s case—For the defence, Mr Haggitt contended that the plaintiff struck the lorry; the lorry did not strike him, and the plaintiff, who was travelling at a fairly high rate of speed, did not have control of his machine just prior to the time of impact.—Evidence was heard, and counsel addressed the court, after which his Worship reserved his judgment.
