GIANT ITALIAN BOXER
FEELING AGAINST CARNERA. INCAPABLE OF SELF-CONTROL. (United Press Association.) CBy Electric Telegraph—Copyright. > LONDON, December 13. (Received Dec. 15, at 5.5 p.m.) Mr James Douglass, editor of the Sunday Express, writes as follows to his paper: “As a citizen 1 call on the Home Secretary to forbid Camera to fight at Albert Hall. A primitive giant like Carncra, who is incapable of self-control, should not be permitted to box for gate money. You might as well sell tickets for a fight between a man-eating tiger and a cow. He might kill his opponent, the referee, or one of his seconds.” Lord Lonsdale was interviewed by the same paper, and, speaking for the Boxing Board of Control, he said, “ We should not put him in the ring. He does not conform with our ideas of how a fighting man should behave.”
