AQUATICS.
MACAXDREW BAY REGATTA. The question of holding a regatta this year was fully discussed at a' meeting of boating men and Macandrew Bay residents, held in the Kbrth-Eafit Harbour Boating Club’s shed on Wednesday evening. Those present were unanimous in their ’ decision 'that the regatta should be held as-usual on Boxing Day at Macandrew Bay. The- following programme was approved:—. Sailing dinghies (12ft 6in and under), yachts (18ft and oyer 12ft 6iii), yadHs (all-comers). Jeliicoo class, sailing dinghies.- model yachts (two cliisses), motor boats (rated at eight miles per hour and under), motor boats (over eight and under lo miles per hour), cruising launches, outboard motor boats (handicap event and free-for-all scratch event), speed boat championship of Otago, Wakefield Cup event (motor boats), and eight rowing events.
