HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE.
“ JOURNEY'S END." . Such is the fame of "Journey’s End,’ - the play which is at present being presentocl at His Majesty's Theatre, and so widely has it .been discussed and commented upon, that it has been assured ot success wherever it has been produced. That Dunedin people had been fully acquainted with its greatness was shown by the attendances at the first two perfo r inances, and that they appreciated the fact that all that had been said in its favour was well was shown by the enthusiasm with which the production was received. “Journey’s End” is cer ta.n y one ot the most remarkable plays that have oeen produced in recent years, and the impiession which it leaves among the audience is a very striking one. it is unusual in that the cast is composed solely of maie players, and the scene remains the same throughout the play, It depets a wartime incident, and leads up to a very original climax. Difficult parts are ir. the hands of extremely capable actors, and, indeed, the whole production belongs to a* type of entertainment which Dunedin audiences see only too seldom.
