EARTHQUAKE RELIEF.
PENSIONS FOR WIDOWS AND DEPENDENTS. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, November 14. The Earthquake Committee has voted a further sum of £51,432 for the repair of damage. The Commissioner of Pensions is investigating the question of general assistance for the widows and dependents of those who were killed, with a view, to ascertaining what provision can reasonably be made out of the fund.
