DUNEDIN TECHNICAL COLLEGE

EXHIBITION OF WORK. The exhibition of work at the Dunedin Technical College, which was opened on Wednesday evening, was continued yesterday, and attracted a large attendance of the public in both the afternoons and evenings. A section which aroused very general interest was tho exhibition of tho art department, and the extent to which the culture of this department permeated through the other sections of the exhibition was very noticeable. The engineering and electrical exhibits attracted a good number of interested spectators, including tradesmen and employers, as also did the plumbing and woodwork sections. The art and needlework sections showed a tastefulncss of colour selection and an originality of design which was enhanced by the neatness of the work. The cooking section offered a rare selection of dainties which were displayed in a. very attractive fashion, and attracted considerable interest from all classes of the public. During the evening an exhibition of physical training work was given by the pupils of Miss Ivcnee Tuckwcll’s classes. The exhibition will bn open again this afternoon, and will be concluded this evening;
