BOY SCOUTS
THE DOMINION CONTINGENT. ARRIVAL IN SYDNEY. (United Press Association ) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) SYDNEY, November 8. (Received Nov. 9, at 1 a.m.) A contingent of 32 New Zealand Boy Scouts returned by the liner Orford from the international jamboree in England. They were warmly welcomed on their arrival in Sydney by Mr Bennett, general secretary of the Scouts’ Association here. They were entertained at lunch, then motored round the harbour to the various beaches and the Zoological Gardens, and they were the guests of the management at a theatrical performance. They resumed their voyage in the Ulimaroa to New Zealand to-day, but before their departure they placed a wreath of poppies on the Cenotaph.
