THE GREAT NICOLA.
Mystery and charm are the impressive elements in Sir Benjamin and Mr John Fuller’s big attraction opening at His Majesty’s Theatre this evening, when the Great Nicola and his famous company will introduce to theatregoers something entirely unusual. Those who attend will see a show that is claimed to be the finest of its kind, and. which offers an amazing array of mysteries and illusions, magic and transformations, all guided by the master-hand of Nicola, and appearing to defy all scientific and natural laws. Nicola is supported by a company of ®tar artists and assistants, and brings with him over 50 tons of gorgeous scenery and _ effects, which are all used for the staging of his wonderful show, which is presented in two huge acts and 10 scenes. Magic _of ancient Egypt, conjuring of mysterious China, famous mysteries from India, and witchcraft from the depth of Africa are interwoven to constitute part of the big programme which Nicola and bis talented company have to offer. The icatures of Nicola’s entertainment are numerous, and every feat is performed with such celerity that the programme whirls from one mystery to the next without a moment’s respite.
