CLASHING WIRELESS.

TO THE EDITOR. Sib, —l am tie possessor o£ a powerful radio set and am in a very favourable position on a hill, well away from all electric tram lines. Notwithstanding all this, on Monday evenings my set is useless through the interference of station 4ZL, Dunedin. On this evening 4YA and 2YA are on the air, and when one tunes in to either of these stations 4ZL can be heard equally as loud. You can understand, therefore, what a discord prevails and to what one has to listen. I have made inquiries from my radio friends in other parts of Dunedin, and they all complain about this interference. Now, Sir, all owners of radio receivers pay an annual fee of 30s, and I consider it time that the authorities took this matter up and compelled the alteration of the wave length of 4ZL in such' a way that we are not compelled to listen to discord. The combined owners of radio sets should receive more consideration than an owner of a small transmitting set who pays a small transmitting fee.—l am, etc., Radio.
