WRESTLING.
THRILLING BOUT TO-NIGHT. Thrilling! Spectacular! Hard! That about sums up the wrestling match to be staged between Farmer Vance, light-heavy-weight champion of Canada, and Clarence Eklund, light-heavy-weight champion of the world, at the Drill Hall this evening, under the auspices of the Otago Wrestling Association. Eklund knows every trick in the game, but he will need them all to be able to stall off the dashing, purposeful attack of the Canadian champion to-night. Vance is a wonderful showman, and the crowd is assured of one of the most entertaining exhibitions that has been staged in the Dominion for some time. When this pair met at Auckland the critics were unanimous in their opinion that the match was one of the best ever held there, and the same seems likely to apply to Dunedin. The public is fortunate in being enabled to witness such stars in action at popular prices, and an additional attraction will he the exhibition by Maracci Gardeni and T. Walker, sen.
