The allegation was that accused had performed Die T&rli 1011, but lueuuuuiug up Mr Justice Herdman pointed out that the Crown’s !£" ww.jcry weak, ae there was no direct evidence of an offence by the accused, while the girl’s dying depositions definitely stated that the accused had merely examined her, and had not performed an operation. His Honor advised the jury to acquit, and it did so.
