ST. KILDA BEACH.
TO THE EDITOR.
Sib, —As some improvements are" being made at the entrance to the St. Hilda Beach, I -would like to ask if the Domain Board is reckoning on all kinds of motor traffic being permitted to drive in to the foot of the sandhills. If so. I think it is entailing a big mistake. It is only in recent years that the barrier that was at the entrance was shifted back to the foot of the sandhills. My object in writing this letter is to try and get a proper barrier at the entrance, where it always used to. be, to keep out that modern evil, the motor car, so that when parents take their children to the Beach they can leave them to play about with some degree of safety when they are inside that barrier. —I am. etc., Safety First.
