. STRANQLED BY MOTHER.. CONCLUSION OF THE INQUEST. ' (Special to Daily Times.) AUCKLAND, September 20. “ That the twin boys, William Arran Cubis;- and Timothy. Brian Cubis, died at King Edward , street on August 6, arid that the cause of’ their. death was that they ■- were. , strangled .by their mother, -who was insane, at the time,”; was the verdict returned by the coroner (Mr F; K. Hunt, S.M.) when the inquest on the death of the Cubis twins was concluded to-day. According to William Alfred Cubis, he had married Annie. Elizabeth Foley, of Albany, in June, 1920. She was > now 40 years of age. There were three children, the eldest being eight and the deceased twins nearly four at the time of their- death. About 12 months ago his wife’s,: health had broken dowq, ' and, acting on the advice of Dr Richards, she had entered the Wolfe Home .as a voluntary patient in February.
